The Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project was a $2 billion, 8.5-mile-long, Design-Build Light Rail transit project built to connect the LAX Airport to the city of Inglewood and the city of Los Angeles Historic Crenshaw District. The project included 1 mile of twin-bored tunnel, six bridges (including a 315-foot-long structure over I-405 Interstate (one of the most congested Interstates in the United States), and eight new stations with off-street parking (3 underground stations).
