Project and Quality Management
The Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project is a $2 billion (8.5-mile) Design-Build Light Rail project serving the cities of Los Angeles, Inglewood and El Segundo. The project, which consists of tunnels, bridges, and at- grade rail system also includes 8 new stations and a new facility with the capacity to service and store up to 70 light-rail vehicles. The anticipated completion of the project is summer 2020.
VGP was contacted by the Design-Build Contractor (Joint Venture of major national contractors – The Walsh Group and J.F. Shea Construction) and asked to provide professional services to assist with reconciliation of the project costs and negotiation of the final contract value with the Owner.
